Jacaranda Donates Sewing Machine and Carpentry Equipment to GAYO Vocational Skills Training Program

We are excited to announce that we have received a new electric sewing machine and carpentry equipment from Jacaranda, a partner in Segal Family foundation! This equipment will help us to train young people in vocational skills, so that they can get good jobs and build a better future for themselves.

The sewing machine will be used to train young people in sewing and garment construction including school uniforms and re-usable sanitary pads which will be donated in different primary school as one way of promoting girls education in rural and farming areas in Malawi. This is a valuable skill that can lead to jobs in the fashion industry, such as seamstress, tailor, or fashion designer. The carpentry equipment will be used to train young people in carpentry and woodworking. This is another valuable skill that can lead to jobs in the construction industry, such as carpenter, cabinetmaker, or furniture maker.

We are grateful to Jacaranda for their generous donation. This equipment will make a real difference in the lives of the young people we train. It will give them the skills they need to get good jobs and build a better future for themselves.

We are committed to providing young people with the skills they need to succeed in life. The donation from Jacaranda is a major step forward in our mission. We are excited to get started training young people in sewing and carpentry, and we are confident that they will use these skills to create a better future for themselves.

Thank you for your support!
