As we commemorate the 2025 International Day of Education, Girls Activist Youth Organisation (GAYO) joins the global community in exploring this year’s thought-provoking theme: “AI and Education: Preserving Human Agency in a World of Automation.”
In today’s rapidly evolving world, artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping how we live, learn, and work. From personalized learning apps to automated grading systems, AI has brought significant improvements to the education sector, making learning more accessible and efficient. But as these technologies become more sophisticated, a critical question arises: how can we ensure that human values, creativity, and decision-making remain central in this age of automation?
