Unleashing the Power Within The TiKuMa Project Empowers Young Leaders – Girls activist Youth Organisation-GAYO

Unleashing the Power Within The TiKuMa Project Empowers Young Leaders

Girls Activist Youth Organisation (GAYO), firmly believes in the potential of young people to shape their own futures and drive positive change. This is the driving force behind our exciting #NORAD TiKuMa Project (Tiwaniritse ndi Kuteteza Ma Ufulu Ana), which translates to “Lead and Protect Children’s Rights.”

Thanks to the generous support of Save the Children Malawi, the TiKuMa Project empowers children with the tools and support they need to become leaders and advocates in their communities. We are constantly inspired by the enthusiasm and potential of these young changemakers, and our project thrives on collaboration with esteemed donor Save the Children Malawi.

The TiKuMa Project prioritizes efficiency and avoids duplication by working closely with other organizations, including Save the Children Malawi. Together, we strive to maximize our reach and ensure impactful support reaches more children.

Imagine a world where children are heard and actively empowered to become agents of change. TiKuMa fosters social responsibility, entrepreneurship, and agency in young people, enabling them to make a real difference in their communities.

We are incredibly grateful for the support of the Ministry of Gender, Malawi, particularly the child protection and planning departments. This collaboration strengthens our efforts and allows us to extend our reach, ensuring more children receive the vital services and support they deserve.
