Job Summary
We are seeking two dynamic and motivated Field Officer Interns to join our team. The ideal candidates should have a background in social sciences, development studies, international relations, environmental science, or a related field, and have a strong interest in community development, public health, or humanitarian aid. As a Field Officer Intern, you will play an important role in overseeing project implementation in the field, conducting regular site visits, and ensuring the success of our programs.
Skills and Requirements:
• Conduct regular field visits to oversee project implementation
• Develop and maintain relationships with local communities and stakeholders
• Collect and analyze data to monitor project success and make adjustments as necessary
• Prepare timely and detailed reports on field activities
• Ensure all operations adhere to regulations and internal policies
• Provide training and guidance to local volunteers and field staff
• Represent the organization professionally at community meetings and events
• Collaborate with team members and other stakeholders to ensure project success
• Proven experience as a Field Officer or similar role in an NGO
• Excellent knowledge of data collection methods and data analysis
• Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of community development practices and principles
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in remote locations
• Understanding of relevant local laws and regulations
Educational Background
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, International Relations, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Knowledge of community development, public health, or humanitarian aid is advantageous.
